In versions 12,11.1,11.0 that I have tested when you have 15 minutes set in the appointment view, when you enter into Opendental, it will always start at 12:00am on the schedule instead of moving the schedule close to your scheduled hours. However if you use 5 or 10 minute settings it is perfectly fine. I have also noticed if you make the change from 10 to 15 minutes and don't exit Opendental it does put you close like it should but when you exit and come back in the shedule will always start at 12:00am. - Minor bug but it was brought to our attention and we said we would pass it on.

I bet it won't do that if you use a smaller screen. It's the expected behavior because of the size of the screen. The program doesn't remember "times" when switching between views. It instead remembers "scroll positions". It's a feature request to have it keep track of times when switching. In fact, it's feature request #109.
