When I go through the Recall List and select a patient, and choose something like "left message"... will that patient re-appear on the list in the future? I see the patient disappears off the list, but no appointment was set so they shouldnt be permanently off the list. Does it refresh every day, so tomorrow the patient will be back on the list?

This is typically determined by settings in Setup > Recall. At the bottom of the window there is a section called "Also show in list if # of days since" which will have the patient show back up in the list after so many days have passed.

had those set as 0 which i assumed to mean reappear immediately. i'll try 1

didnt work, set my FD's notice to "left message" on Feb 4, and she still isnt showing up in there again when i check today

When you set it to zero, the patient will reappear the next day.

Thats what I had assumed, but patients that I put a reminder in for disappear and they didntcome back the next day. I'll test again, I just set an note for "answering machine" on my own recall, and in setup its set to 0 days, so I'll see if it shows up in the list tomorrow or not.

we provide a section called, "Reasons why a patient might not show on the list". You should probably start with that. If it turns out that we need to add another reason to the list, let us know. The plan is to eventually incorporate all of those reasons into the program itself. For example, we might have it show those patients in the list along with an explanation of why they are not due yet. Or we might add a search feature of some kind to let you pin down the reason for a specific patient.

yea i just double checked everything, didnt see any conflicts with it. tried it with # of days since reminder set at 0 and 1. probably just better to call at this point

If you've checked everything on that list thoroughly, then we can get a copy of your database and start escalating it on our end. We can track down that specific patient in debug mode.

are there any plans to update the recall list to coincide with the information on the insurance breakdown?

currently it defaults to 1 set of dates not necessarily to the patients insurance breakdown.

I think you're talking about request 380. Recall list should always pull from the patient recall interval. But the patient recall interval could be updated automatically based on benefits. That's what the request is for.
