Does anyone have a template of a buck slip or similair to give to the patient at the end of the appt so the front desk knows what to schedule next and how much time? Or does everyone else use another way to communicate this info to the front? We tried tasks but that did not work through opendental for us. I am trying to prevent assistants from having to communicate manually to the front desk by walking up there.
Thanks!

The assistant is supposed to enter the procedures in the operatory. But that is not always feasible, especially if there is only one computer in the op and it is on the doctors side.

Place the next procedure in the planned appointment box. The front desk can then give the appointment.

and if you don't have the tx in the system yet, you can just write on the planned appt what you want to do next in the note just like it was a piece of paper...

Thanks! This is perfect. The planned appt is what I needed.
