Jordan...
On printed statements on the bottom when it prints out the patient's future appointments...Why does it use the abbreviation codes instead of the actual procedure code and full description. The abbreviations make no sense to patients.

Because that's what's easily accessible from the database. There's already an invisible field on each appointment that gives the summary description, automatically generated when you set the appointment. It's most useful to the staff, but might be somewhat useful to the patient. I agree it would be better to have a full description.

yeah..it just looks silly looking at the bottom of their statement with the date and time for a "Pro Poe Flo Pan BWX "..is there a way to turn off the description of the procedures if too hard to pull the descriptions onto the statement?

Not currently. Either way would be a feature request.
