ESET NOD32 Antivirus

Post by shvercer »

Does anyone have experience using ESET NOD32 Antivirus with Open Dental? We currently use that on both the Windows 2008 R2 Server and Windows 7 workstations, but I didn't see it mentioned on the Open Dental Antivirus page. We chose it several years ago, because it had a small memory footprint and wasn't resource hungry like the "big three" competitors, but it also had scored well in the av-comparatives reviews.

I am using NOD32 on 2008 server R2. i picked it because at the time, it's the only one I could find that supported 2008 R2. Small footprint, doesnt get in the way. Other than needing it for 2008 server, I just use Microsoft Security Essentials for the client win7s. They do their job leaving you to do yours.

I have been using ESET NOD 32 Antivirus for about 6 years, works great. No problems.
