I just downloaded version 12.3 at home and started playing with the new medical history features. I really like the strategy for entering medications. The only suggestion I would have is that maybe in the future a drop down list of the medications in the database could be used to click and select. The strategy for allergies and problems is different from that in medications. In these you need to have each allergy or problem listed on the form. Of course this means you have the problem that not everything will fit in the form. Jordan, my questions would be: could we somehow add a box for allergies or problems we could call "Other" and enter the information manually like we enter the medications? Would this also import into the database?

You mean let the patient select from a dropdown list? That's too dangerous because users pick the wrong med something like 10% of the time. Dropdown lists are the major reason for increased medication errors when using computer entry instead of paper.
