Can you please elaborate on those methods and how they apply to the recall list?

That phrase is referring to the methods of contacting patients to let them know they have a recall coming up. Some possible methods would be contacting them via email, sending them a post-card, or calling them. They apply to the recall list in that they are all ways of notifying patients that they are coming up for recall.
