Stop the database manually (Windows Services) Rename your database to something like OpenDentalBK and OpendentImagesBK. Copy and paste the Opendental and OpendentImages folders from your latest backup to their default location ( or wherever you installed them) and start the data base again. Give that a try and keep us posted :D

Tried it. No luck.
I can access all the modules except the chart module.

Sounds like .net framework. If this is machine specific, try re-installing the .net framework. Use the .net framework cleanup utility available from MS downloads page. Enable .netframwork 3.5 install 4.0 and give it a try. Keep us posted.

It's a database problem. Might just be a bad backup. You could try to run database maintenance tool called Optimize and then after that click the fix button to actually run DBM. Otherwise discard that backup as corrupt and get a new one. If the problem happens on your live db, give us a call and we'll play doctor with your db.

Database tools found three corrupt files.
Fixed them and now home backup is happy as a clam.

Thanks,
