Is there a way to run a report that breaks down insurance payments vs cash and also even breaking down by insurance company?
Sorry I am the RDH and the receptionist was asking if I could check into how to do this. I don't often run reports. We are a fairly small office.

You can very easily run a daily payments report- that will list all the payments from patients and insurance companies (they are totaled separately for you).
Go to Reports>Daily Payments
You can get a little more in depth with custom queries, but I'm guessing this one should do it for you.
