Adobe slow, Alternative

So I got rid of adobe acrobat and replaced it with PDF X-Change which is 20 times faster--acrobat was taking upto 20 seconds at time to open a PDF. Can you some how make opendental use that and display it in the window to the right. I can use it but I have to double click the file, it doesnt open on its own like it did with acrobat.

That didnt work, so I fixed adobe. Here is what I did.

Open Adobe goto edit --> preferences
Goto security enhanced
under privileged locations add your A to Z image folder location. Click ok
Turn off enable protected mode at startup (I dont open anything but opendental images on my machine so not an issue for me)
Thats it. Adobe is quick again.
