14 Month Benefit Period for New Insurance Plans

Good Afternoon, and Happy President's day. I was writing to see if anyone has found one of these new plans in their office. I have an employer plan with Metlife that arrived in my office today. I've never heard of this in my life, but Metlife states the member has a 14 month benefit period. I don't even believe that Open dental has the capabilities to monitor the remaining maximums on this type of plan. Has anyone ran into this type of plan yet? Any advice?
