Sheets Question

I have an exam sheet that I wanted to print and send on to a referral. When I printed it, all of the font sizes got changed and ended up cutting some stuff off. The exact same thing happened when I created a PDF. I have it set up for mainly clinic use, but in this case needed to print it off. Is there a setting I need to change/tweak somewhere? Is this just how it goes? I don't want to redo the sheet if at all possible, because I like how it functions for me. It just does not function well to create a copy of it.

Any ideas?

I called and asked open dental about this the other day. I was told that is how it is, they are working on the issue, but the time frame is unknown for now.

It's pretty complicated to get what we draw on the screen to be 100% accurate when printing, converting to pdfs, and for displaying in web browsers for web forms.
However we have fixed things like this in the past:
bug fix in v7.6.13 "Patient registration form looked different on screen than when printed."

We will continue to try and make them as accurate as possible. But like doctordoom mentioned, the time frame is unknown because we don't want to inadvertently break it for everyone. My best suggestion would be to call in (or share on the forums) your examples with us. The more ways we can duplicate this the more ways we can verify that what we do will end up fixing the root of the problem.

This is what I see on the computer:

This is what the PDF creates (same thing as when it prints... only the margins get cut off... different problem all together):

Hope the links work.

Whats wrong with a re,smoot, raise lesion with irregula broders? See em all the time!

That's a nice simple form - very clear. Is it copyrighted?

Rick

The images? I have no idea. The form? Just my blood, sweat and tears. I can get an export up here if people are interested in it.

When you set up the sheet, it looks like you didn't set the size of the text boxes long enough.
GO back into the sheet design mode and each text box increase the length of the box in the properties.

As a test decrease the font size on just one label and see if more of the label fits on the print out.

Just noting that I love how you put "God,I hope this error duplicates." It's not very often that I laugh out loud at the office. I got some strange looks I must admit.

It would make my life crazy easy if you uploaded the export to our sharing thread. I do not need your background image but I'm sure other users would really appreciate you including that as well.

Also, what version of Adobe and what version of Open Dental are you currently using?
