Can someone recommend a label maker that they use with a USB connection that works well with OD. Apparently the last update I did will allow me to do that. Thanks for the help

Depends on what you use labels for:

Small single labels: (e.g. Appointment Labels and small address labels): DYMO is what we use. Works really well with OD and as a bonus if you get the Twin Turbo it can print stamps.

UPS style labels: Zebra/Eltron etc.

The above are thermal labels and you will need special thermal paper rolls. Below is an example of a plain paper label.

Sheet of labels: Any laser or inkjet as long as labels are rated accordingly. Laser is better since ink is cheaper and the labels don't smudge easily. These can be used with Word or Avery's software.

We just got the Brother QL-710w which is wireless and means that we can print from any computer and don't need a computer to be a print server.

DYMO sells a tiny print server that also works great for its label makers.

What operating system are you using?
Did you go to Brother's website and download the latest driver?
