Scanning question.....

We are scanning nursing notes into the images file for clinical. Yesterday for some reason we stopped getting a preview of the pdf file before confirming it to the clinical folder. We still get the scanned files in the folder, but can't double check for them being correct before saving. Once they are in the folder, we can double click and check, but it was much easier to check before saving. Any idea what happen? How can we go back? Any advise is helpful. Thanks!

I suspect a plugin, but I could be wrong (it's happened before)
Did the issue occur half way through your scanning or you noticed the behavior at the beginning of your task?
If it occurred at the beginning (which again I suspect), then it could be many number of things that changed settings, such as updates to Windows, your default browser. etc.

Try:
1. Set IE as default internet browser.
2. Make sure the plug-in settings are set correctly before opening PDF file in IE. Plugins The Plugin that needs to be enabled in manage add-ons is the PDF reader extension. I had to click the drop down arrow and select all add-ons.
3.Open PDF file using IE (PDF should open in IE, not in Adobe). If it doesn't work, try setting the Adobe plugin to disabled and back to enabled and try again.
4.Try opening file in OD. You should be able to view PDF now.
5.Change the default internet browser back.
