Hello!
I'm trying to change the way we book our hygiene appointments in Open Dental. Is there a way to highlight the start time of each open time slot? For example, if we are doing 50 minute hygiene, the highlighted times would include 8:00, 8:50, 9:40 etc. Is there a way to permanently highlight those times for particular hygiene providers? That way the front office can find open slots at a quick glance without having to do the math for every 50 minutes?

To really do what you are asking we would need to implement this as a new feature. You can add this to our feature request system:

As for a workaround, I can only think of one way and it (to me) is a poor suggestion but might work out for you. I would create two blockout types (doesn't really matter what they say, the color would be the only thing that matters to me) and then in your Op, make as many blockouts as needed for the day alternating between the two blockouts thus there will be a color pattern that makes it easy to see when the 50 minute span is up. Once the first op is created, you can then copy block out days to other days so that you do not have to manually do this process every day.
