After Adding Database to existing, Reports WAY off

Post by savvy »

So, I had an Easy Dental office database converted and added to my existing OD.......
Now my reports are all off.
In some Previous Years To Date they are off by HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS.
The conversion basically added the lifetime of two practices together.
No where in my wildest dreams did I think this was going to happen.
At no time did any OD conversion team member suggest that this was going to take place.
According to a five year OD report, I've collected OVER $1,500,000 than I actually did.
WTF??
How can this be fixed?

As boboffice suggested, please contact conversions directly about this issue. The sooner the better. They will be the ones that are most capable to answer any of your questions or concerns.

My staff just got off the phone with OD Conversion expert, Evan.
From what my staff is telling me, this is the way it must be:
All previous Easy Dental production and collection numbers get added to existing OD previous production and collection numbers

So, what I am understanding is....
If an existing OD practice that year end year out over the last 10 years, has a $500K production/collection practice,
Acquires a second practice, that let say, year end year out for 10 years, has a $1M production and collections using Easy Dental
The practice that Easy Dental is being converted to....
Now shows a 10 year history of $2.5 M production/collections

This cannot be the intended outcome.
Really?

Short answer....
Perhaps listening to one's staff is not the best info....
Evan talked with me.
Simple fix on my end by excluding providers from reports.
All good.
