I am able to force printer selection on progress notes to prompt only when the "default" option is selected to prompt. I would like to know if it would be possible to have progress notes as a separate line in the printers setup menu so we can select or unselect prompt, or assign it to a certain printer.

This would be nice so I can print progress notes to an .xps file and then email. Unless emailing progress notes from the chart is a new feature about to drop...

Currently, printing chart notes uses the default printer settings in Open Dental. You can submit a feature request if you would like to see the behavior of the program changed.
