Overtime calculation

Post by Drilldoc90 »

Is there anyway for Open Dental to be able to calculate overtime for time worked over 8 hours per day in addition to the 40 hours per work week? Isn't that the overtime rule for California?

On the same note of the overtime, would it be possible to have different time interval options for calculation of time ie 1/10, vs 1/100 (current) of an hour.

The overtime issue for over 8 hours per day is fairly high priority. But we've never considered a different time interval calculation.

What about office that is on alternative work schedule where employees work 4 days a week at 10 hr/ each day. And overtime don't kick in until after 10 hr/ a day.

Any update on California overtime calculation? If this is not possible in near future, It would be nice if you can allow time card export to csv or xls. Then it would be easier for users to customize their own overtime calculation and customization.

Request 794 has 1 vote. 267 has 100 votes. So it looks like the export feature will come before the included calculation at this rate.
