copy/paste records?

Is there anyway to copy the entire "chart" to a file. Currently, when a patient transfers out and they want a copy of their records we have been printing them out, then scanning them back in...it would be nice to cut out a step.

One thing that you can do is download and install a PDF writer, then set that as your default when you want to create an electronic copy of the patient's progress notes.
We use the free version of CutePdf: http://www.cutepdf.com/

That saves you the time and resources of having to print them out and scan them back in.
