Incorrect fee posting!in chart/account.

Good evening,

Quick question. On two separate occasions, the procedure fees that auto populated into the patient account (when the procedure was set to complete) were the insurance allowable fees for the attached fee schedule instead of the office fees. The same thing happened w the fees for the treatment planned procedures. What might we be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can offer. Anne

What version of Open Dental are you running?

You probably have your insurance plan set to Category Percentage instead of PPO Percentage.
Go ahead and change the plan type, and then update fees in the Treatment Plan Module before completing the work. If you complete work with the incorrect fee, you will have to manually edit it at that point.
