I'm trying to get a handle on how much time our providers are available but are not scheduled with a patient. Looking at the number of missed appointments doesn't tell the whole story because we can often fill the short notice cancels. At first I was thinking we'd need to look at open operatory time, but it would actually be open provider time since some work out of two chairs. Does anyone have a query for this? I think it would be similar to what's behind the search button in the appointment module, but summarized by provider for a historical time period. Can someone help get me started with this?

Provider scheduling logic is complicated within the program so I could only imagine how complicated it would be to write into query form. I'm fairly certain you'll have to request a new query or piece several queries results together to get the end result information that you desire.
