Upgrade procedure

Its been a while since I upgraded to a newer version. I just wanted to verify what I need to do to upgrade.
After performing a current backup do I simply update the server via Help --> update. Then do the same to the workstations?

Nope, just update on one workstation (or the server). It will shut down the rest of the workstation's OpenDentals. Once the update is finished the workstation can start OD and they will go through the update process on startup.

If it has been a very long time, few years that you did not update, and if it is a version older than v11,
the OD team may recommend a different way, contact them before you do that.
(they made some changes to their tables)
