Scenario:
So I am now an Aetna Provider. I use the Ins Tool , and added the Aetna fee schedule to all of our Aetna plans. You click "change" and all is done automatically fast and nice

As I was not an Aetna provider before, in the Insurance module, the plan type is setup to: "Category Percentage"
is there a way to change the plan type from : "Category Percentage" to "PPO Percentage" automatically without the need to go to every patient chart and change it manually?

You have two options, 1. go into Lists/Insurance Plans and enter Aetna in the Carrier box. Double click on one of the listed plans and change to PPO percentage. Do this for every plan.
2. Call Open Dental support and ask if they could write a query and have them change it for you.
