Hi,

I"m trying to use the backup button on OD, but every time I press the back up, I get this prompt "Backing up A to Z images folder fail. Not enough free disk space available on the destination drive". I just purchase a new 4 TB drive that has been installed, and it still gives me the same prompt. Can someone tell me what is wrong with my OD?

As long as your paths are all set up correctly it should be working fine.
What version of Open Dental are you using?
Are you backing up directly to the drive (e.g. C:\) or to a specific folder (e.g. C:\specific\folder\)?
How big is your entire OpenDentImages folder? If it is HUGE, is there another software that you use putting files in there?

I first tried it on an external drive, than I bought an extra internal harddrive and I just tried it on the main drive, all gave me the same promopt. The file folder is whatever drive letter :\backup\ is the folder I've put it in. The OD is 15.2.19. The folder is only 2.42 GB. The internal harddrive that was just installed is 4 TB and the external HD is 3TB. I'm not sure what is going on. Please let me know. Thanks

Oh, you simply need to update. There was a bug fix "Backup, was sometimes calculating the AtoZ folder size incorrectly." in v15.2.22 and that is probably your problem.
