SQL Backup Questions

Is is sufficient to make a copy of the SQL folder as a backup?
Would those folder copies be legitimate backups if done during the day while someone is in OpenDental?

C:\mysql\data\opendental
I back the open dental folder only from the MySQL, it works even if someone is using OD files.
Daily, 1 hour before the end of the day, I have a software that automatically back it up, encrypt it, and sync it to another location
C:\OpenDentImages
And once a week, I do the same for the A to Z folder

Only way you can know is if you test your backup by doing a restore. I suggest trying it on an off-site computer like your home. Here's an article from Open Dental's manual on the steps to follow:
