INtermigle family members on E-statements standard now?

My FD is complaining, SInce I updated to the latest OD, she cannot send electronic statements without intermingling family members. Why is this necessary now? Was a lot easier for patients to read statements when it was patients specific. Makes me think to get rid of e statements for this reason....

What next?

You may have the preference checked that states "Account module statements default to intermingled mode". You can find this preference in Setup > Manage > Manage Preferences. It is the 3rd item from the bottom of the preferences.
You can see more about this on our Manage Module Preferences page: http://www.opendental.com/manual/modulesetupmanage.html

E-statements have always intermingled families since the beginning of Open Dental time. http://opendental.com/manual/ebill.html
Unfortunately there's no getting around this for electronic bills. If you process in Open Dental, then Jason's suggestions above will work.

So, she would choose electronic statements, then ok , then click back into it and there was the option to uncheck intermigle, then print to our e-statment provider. Now that option is gone. She was definitely able to do it in the previous versions.

There is no workaround.
Even if she thought they weren't intermingling, they were. Are you using DentalXchange for your e-statements? If you look at previous batches that were sent to patients, you'll see that they are intermingled. It's the biggest disadvantage to electronic billing.
