Time Clock- Preventing Early Clock-ins

I was wondering if there is the ability to create shifts on an employee's time card to prevent employees from clocking in early? I know some time clock softwares offer this feature and I think that would be a great addition.

There is currently not that functionality. There is a feature request (#2426) that asks for that to be implemented. If you add some votes to it, you will increase the chances of it getting done.
