I would like to get a second computer functioning for credit card processing. X-charge says they are $190 or $9.95 a month. Amazon has them for $18.99. The x-charge rep said theirs was encrypted.

Is this truely the case?

Have others bought other USB swipers to use?

Unfortunately it is true and I think it is actually a good price. I don't like it either but we are tied to Xcharge if you want true Open Dental integration.
