Apparently. Nikky, who assures me she lives on my street and is 23, shows up as unassigned in the Patient field.Are you getting texts messages from numbers that are not your dental patients?
Going through the text message list, I have a valid reply from a cell phone number that isn't in OD that has the same 'Unassigned' designation. Not sure how that happens but it does.
I'm not sure how you would filter out junk texts.

To block incoming text messages from a specific mobile number, right click on the text message, then click Block Number. The sender will see the text message as delivered, but it will not appear in Open Dental. Blocked messages cannot be recovered.
The best thing about a boolean is even if you are wrong, you are only off by a bit.
