Open Dental Forum

This is kind of a rush request, but the first of our four offices is converting to Open Dental tomorrow, and we still haven't decided on/set up a clearinghouse yet.

Specifically, we'd like to use a clearinghouse that accepts South Carolina Medicaid (Healthy Connections), preferably one that we can check and confirm patient eligibility online with. Are there any dentists in SC with recommendations?

Whichever clearinghouse you do recommend, we would also appreciate information regarding fees and set-up time/difficulty.

If you haven't already, look to join the Open Dental User Group on Facebook and post your question there as well. With your short time-frame, and the tendency for folks to check social media more often, there's a better probability of another Open Dental user getting back with you.

Maybe too late but I would have called all the compatible ones and asked them directly if they work with your payors.
