Cool patient check in tech

This is what they are using at the LabCorp by my house. You put your license in the tray and it reads the barcode on the back to get your name, address and DOB and then scams the front and back of your insurance card.

That is really cool.
I just put my drivers license under a free QR reader app on my phone and it spit out all my identifiers from the front of the card so it would probably be pretty easy to incorporate that into eClipboard. Saving data entry by patients and staff is always nice.

Saw this at LabCorp as well. First time I’d ever been to one. I also took a picture because it was cool
not only fast but gives more accurate data entry.

This would be a great feature... just ask if address on drivers license is correct, if so then scan and incorporate the info into new patient chart. Is this already a feature request, if so what number, I will vote on it.
