Query automation

Just wondering if other offices have anything in place to automate query/report running.
We have been looking for a solution to run a query, export the results, and email to a group. One of my in house techs its writing a tool in python to replicate the workflow but i was seeing if anyone knew of a better solution

python should do the job. We use php and linux cronjobs.

The custom query feature is now live and you are able to automate them to be emailed to you!

Is this feature in reference to OpenDental or to PracticeVisuals?
