Outside of Open Dental, my outgoing gmail account has a signature that contains my logo and active icons to the practice website, Facebook, Instagram, and an active phone number.

The signature does not appear when I select my email as the sender within Open Dental.

Is there a way to get this functionality within the gmails that originate in Open Dental?

I've tried a static image logo on the top of the html template, but that comes across as an attachment rather than an image.

There isn't currently a way to do this in Open Dental. There is an existing feature request for a feature similar to what you described. You can vote on this feature request if you would like. It can be found by clicking on "Request Features" in the "Help" menu in Open Dental. Then, search for request number 10151.
