Open Dental Forum

Hello,
I am new to Open Dental and just got my credentials today. I'm using Google's ARC to test my keys and was unable to get anything other than 404 responses from the new API endpoint (https://api.opendental.com/api1). I attempted several different requests, but got the same thing each time. However, I was able to get data from the older FHIR endpoint (https://api.opendental.com/fhir/v2).

I've been looking on the forums and in the documentation for both APIs but I haven't been able to find anything so far to indicate why. (Unless it isn't turned on yet?) Does anyone have ideas where I might start checking on this?

I have the same experience. Also, any ETA on this API going live would be helpful. Thank you

I got confirmation from someone working at OpenDental that 404 is currently expected because it hasn't gone live yet.

Soon. It can't be live until 21.1 is released, because the office must be on 21.1. Also, the coding is actually a bit ahead of the posted documentation at the moment. We'll try to rectify that shortly.
