Multiple Instances of OpenDental running on server

Updated on Friday to version 20.5.31 because we were getting multiple copies of OD on our server. This issue was supposed to be fixed. Checked this AM and there were four copies of OD running. Is this still an unresolved issue?

You mean that when you try to close Open Dental, it still shows a background thread running in the Task Manager? This is hard to duplicate, and our attempted fix seems to have failed. We have a brand new fix that we will be testing this morning. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Right. When checking in Task Manager there were multiple (4) copies running.

Finally fixed it. That was a tough one. The fix will be in the next releases of 20.4, 20.5, etc., within a day or two.

Please let us know which version this was implemented in so we can being testing in order to upgrade.

I don't see multiple OD services running in our server.
