Insurance check entry problem

Upgraded from 20.2 to 22.3.44 the other day and now we have a problem entering some insurance payments. In the by procedure payment entry, we enter the paid amount and the write off and the pt portion is not calculating properly and it gives us an error that the payment and write-off exceed the fee, but they don't exceed it and there are no other payments or claims on these procedures. Ran DB maint, didn't fix it. Tried to delete the claim and make a new one, didn't help.
