Emailing X-rays with Integrated X-rays and Scan-X

We have been using the integrated x-ray acquisition within OD, along with Scan-X phosphor plates. As they are phosphor plates (vs images from a sensor), they are always scanned as a mirror image and need to be flipped. I have the mounts in OD set to automatically flip the images so that they always appear correct in OD. However, when sending as an email attachment with OD's integrated secure email feature, the images always get flipped back, or sent as the "original" image. This is a significant issue as another office would not know to mirror the images and would be looking at the wrong side of the mouth. Any tips??
